Hi, I’m April!
Brand Builder · Strategic Marketer · Creative Partner · Tennísimo*
I partner with founders, talent, and brands to bring ambitious ideas to life, building strategy, positioning, and creative foundations that drive connection, cultural relevance, and growth.
At Language, I built consumer brands from the ground up and led end-to-end transformations for established global brands, spanning talent-led venture creation, positioning and identity systems, and integrated platforms from strategy through scale. Highlights include expanding GOLF le FLEUR* into beauty with Tyler, the Creator — translating a cultural brand into a new consumer category. I also led brand work for XPRIZE and Concordia Studio, incubated consumer venture concepts with Scarlett Johansson and Charlize Theron, and led a six-month brand strategy engagement with Sam’s Club to translate cultural insight into actionable next-gen store and portfolio strategy.
Previously, I led brand marketing at Myspace, Bugaboo, and Banana Republic, driving global campaigns, product launches, and cultural partnerships. Highlights include scaling Myspace from 8M to 55M users in six months, delivering consecutive years of double-digit comp growth at Banana Republic, and building multi-year entertainment partnerships with Mad Men, Virgin America, and Project Runway.
I got my start at Fallon, the best brand bootcamp in the world (IMHO), where I learned that creativity is the ultimate force multiplier. That belief still guides my work today.
*Tennis. So much tennis. Even more obsessed with ideas that move business — and people.
